SHL Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of drug delivery devices such as auto injectors, pen injectors and inhalers, is developing a new 3,000 square meter facility in Nankan, Taiwan. This new facility, also known as Nankan 6, is SHL’s sixth Taiwan facility that provides enhanced in-house support and capabilities for customers.

Nankan 6 is driven by the increasing demand of various projects such as solar cell printing. Such equipment is developed for some of the world’s leading printing machining manufacturer of solar printing machine modules.

The new facility is home to various top-of-the-line machines related to CNC machining, vacuum forming, laser cutting, robot & laser welding, sheet metal bending and more. In addition, Metrology, Logistics and Quality Control support are also available on-site. The new campus began operations July 1st, 2010 and further expansion of the facility in size & scope will take place in the coming months.
