On Friday March 18th, the SHL Group and its many employees at the Taiwan office joined World Vision for a ‘Japan Earthquake Relief’ fundraiser.

Just over one week ago, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake shook Japan.  The earthquake, and the tsunami that followed, caused extensive damage and resulted in significant loss of life. These events have caused severe hardships for many people living in Japan and they are in need of immediate assistance.

Within a few days, staff at SHL contacted and worked with those at World Vision Taiwan to put together a quick but effective fundraiser which allowed employees to make donations that would help those in need. The fundraiser was very successful and demonstrated the level of commitment the staff of SHL have with regards to Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR].

Along with the amount raised from this event by employees, which was matched by the SHL Group management, we express our sincere wish that Japan will soon recover.
